Robert Cunningham Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of cherished Robert Paul Cunningham on April 13, 2025.
Deeply mourned by his beloved wife of 38 years, Diana, his brother Kevan (Sheila), sister-in-law Anna, nieces, nephews and kind friends. Predeceased by his parents James and Alice, brothers James and Bernard, all of Sharon, Massachusetts.
Bob was a Postal Inspector for the US Postal Inspection Service for over 30 years, working out of Philadelphia and Bellmawr.
Bob was a lovely gentleman of sweet, soft temperament. He would want no flowers and would like instead for people to do something nice for another and that would honor him.
Bob's family and friends are invited to Christ the King RC Church, 200 Windsor Avenue, Haddonfield, NJ on Wednesday, April 23rd for a greeting 10-10:45 AM and a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Interment is private.

Bobby was a good friend of mine at SHS. I remember him as a calm, kind, and sensitive person. I'm happy to know that he had a loving and full life.

I grew up with Bobby on Lee Road in Sharon. I have many fond memories of our times together. Although we have not been in touch for many years, I will miss him. He was always a gentleman. My deepest sympathies to his wife and family and friends. May in rest in peace.

Mrs Diana Cunningham and family,
My deepest condolences with the passing of Robert. I was also in Philadelphia Division, however I did not work directly with "Bob", but he was a kind and gracious man. Always willing to help or give advice to those asking for it.
My prayers go out to you as you mourn his loss.

Bob was a true gem. As a brand new female inspector in the Philadelphia Division, he provided on the job training to me in the area of fraud. I am still not sure if he was one of the guys who thought women had their place in the service. Although I did not ultimately work in fraud, I did have the opportunity to have lengthy conversations with him over the years. And probably added to several successful investigations of his by doing some undercover work. I think everyone who worked with him and for him had the greatest respect for him. May he rest in peace!
