Robert "Bob" Willis Daggs, born April 22, 1935, passed peacefully from this life into the next on July 7, 2025 at the age of 90 years old. Bob is survived by his wife, Judy, his four children (Nancy, Jim, Bill, and Sally), his two step-children (Tracey and Hunter), twelve grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
Bob was born in Rochester, NY but moved with his family to Southern California in the mid-1940's. While attending UCLA, he met his first wife, Carol Christie. They married in 1957 and he served two years as an officer in the US Army as a decorated marksman. Returning to Southern California, he joined his father, Willis Daggs, in the family business, General Ribbon Corp. (GRC). He would invest the next 48 years of his life pouring into both the business and the people who made up the business. Following his divorce, it was at GRC that he met Judy Ellis and the two united in marriage in 1986.
Quick-witted and very intelligent, he was a kind man and led by example. In addition to his wife and family, he loved photography, fishing, working in his yard, and his many dogs. He will be greatly missed.
The family is planning a private memorial service August 23, 2025.
