Robert "Gerald" Dailey, born on May 7, 1931, in Atlanta, Georgia, to Milton and Christy "Chi Chi" Dailey, passed away on July 22, 2024. He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia "Pat" Dailey; his son, Chris Dailey; and his granddaughter Stephanie Dailey. Gerald was preceded in death by his daughter, Risa Dailey, and his son, Steve Dailey.
Gerald graduated from the University of West Georgia and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force as an aircraft mechanic. He continued his career as an aircraft mechanic with Eastern Airlines and later retired from Brinks.
A funeral service to honor Gerald's life will be held on Friday, July 26, 2024, at 11 o'clock at the graveside of Holly Hill Memorial Park, located at 359 SW Broad Street, Fairburn, GA 30213. The family will receive friends Friday from 9:30 until 10:30 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Gerald's memory.

Gerald Dailey was my supervisor (foreman) at Eastern Airlines. I liked working for him. Always a gentleman and fair. I considered Gerald a friend.
