Robert A. Darwin

PALMER TOWNSHIP
Robert A. Darwin, 94, of Palmer Township, passed away on Friday, August 9, 2024 in the Gardens at Easton. He and his wife, Nancy B. (Allen) Darwin, shared 53 years of marriage.
Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Charles and Gladys (Busby) Darwin. Bob was a graduate of Upper Darby High School. He was the owner of Photo Illustrators in Philadelphia for many years. After moving to the Lehigh Valley, he was a commercial aerial photographer in Easton and owned Darwin A/C Installation of Easton.
Bob was a member of Ebenezer Bible Fellowship in Bethlehem Township. He was also a member of the NRA, Boy Scouts, Sea Scouts, Naval Reserve, founding member of the Abington Sub Mariners Skin Diving Club, Abington Ski Club, PA Photography Association and Range Officer and life member of Easton Fish and Game Club. Bob's favorite things included owning a 1950 Indian Chief and Harley, Ocean Wreck Diving and learning to fly a single engine aircraft.
Survivors: His loving wife, Nancy; daughter, Susan M. Corl and her husband Todd of Springfield; son, David R. Darwin of Springfield; brother, Charles "Bud" Darwin of Downingtown; 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Bob was preceded in death by a son Richard and 2 grandchildren.
Services: A viewing will be held from 10-11 AM on Saturday, August 17, 2024 in the Schmidt Funeral Home, PC, 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth. A graveside service will follow immediately at Forks Cemetery. An additional memorial service and time of sharing will be held at 3:30 PM on Sunday, August 25, 2024 at 100 Grandview Drive, Easton, in the Community Room.
