Robert Lee "Papa Bob" Daugherty, died March 15, 2025 in New Lenox. Born June 30,1941 in Chicago, he was a veteran of the Air Force, retired from the railroad, had a love for movies and tv shows, and used to love trips to the city with his grandkids. Beloved husband to Betty, loving father to Lee Anne (Brian) Hopkins, the late Brian Daugherty, Betty (Rick) Dawson, Joyce Koestner, the late Jamie Koestner and Katy (Rodney) Huguley. Loving son to the late Arthur and the late Viola (Schuette) Daugherty. Loving brother to the late Sylvia Blake, Delores (Sal) Espinosa, Bonnie (Gene) Kirk. Loving grandfather to 15 and great grandfather to 6. He also loved his dog, Stuart Little "scooby". A memorial will be held at a later time.
