Judy Faye Daugherty, age 70 years, of Clinton, Tennessee died Monday, January 12, 2026 at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.

She was born in Scott County, Tennessee on August 25, 1955 the daughter of the late Lawrence and Liza (Bowling) Harness. Judy had worked at the Scott County Hospital as a Secretary in the Emergency Room and was a member of the Pine Knot Freewill Baptist Church. She enjoyed working, going to church and watching TV.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Wayne Daugherty; brother, Archie Harness; sisters, Opal Byrd (Willie) and Geraldine Strunk; and a brother-in-law, Crawford Strunk.

Survivors include her stepchildren, Johnnie and Brian Daugherty and Brenda McGee; brother, Ova Harness (Glenna) of Huntsville, Tennessee; sister, Virgie Strunk of Huntsville, Tennessee; brother-in-law, Ralph Strunk of Helenwood, Tennessee; special nieces who were her caregivers, Jeannene and Rickie Harness and Zelma and Michael Newport; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

Funeral services will be held 7pm Friday, January 16, 2026 at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Boyd Rowe officiating. The family will receive friends after 5pm Friday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be 1pm Saturday, January 17, 2026 at the Pine Knot Cemetery.
