Robert B. Davidson

Robert B. "Bob" Davidson, 80, of Longs, SC formerly of Harleysville, PA, passed away on Monday, July 21, 2025 at his daughter's residence in Downingtown, PA surrounded by loved ones. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Bob was the son of the late Floyd G. and Grace E (Pearce) Davidson. Both of his parents passed away when Bob was young, and he was embraced by the Tarr family.

Bob met his wife Mary Patricia "Pat" (Laverty) Davidson 20 days after she moved to the US from Ireland in 1970. The couple married in October 1971 and had almost 54 wonderful years of marriage.

Bob proudly served in the US Army. He then became a CPA, and later helped establish a non-profit medical/dental center known as CMDC for low-income families working as their CFO for 20+ years. Bob enjoyed playing croquet, horseshoes, volleyball, and tennis. He was always ready to play pinocle, bridge, or poker. His enthusiasm at his daughter's swim meets was contagious. His passion was spending time at the beach with family and friends. Bob was an amazing husband, dad, granddad, and friend.

In addition to his wife, Bob is survived by his daughter: Colleen I. (Davidson) Swarter, wife of Steve, of Downingtown, PA; grandchildren: Robert P. "Robbie" Swarter and Ryan J. Swarter; Don, Dave, Dan, and the entire Tarr family
