Robert Anthony Davila Sr, age 47, passed away January 3rd, 2026. Robert was born on January 31st, 1978 in
Corpus Christi, Texas to Alfredo Davila Jr and Oralia Rodriguez. He attended Mary Carroll High School. Robert loved spending time with his wife, family, children, and numerous nieces and nephews. He enjoyed passing his time teaching his nephews how to throw the football, taking them fishing and to the park. His family, his wife & his kids were his world. He absolutely loved barbecuing, that was his specialty. He will always be remembered for his love for the Dallas Cowboys, his funny sense of humor, his love for music and dancing, his devotion to his wife & family, and always willing to help others. Robert recently rededicated his life to the Lord & was attending Church Of Acts. He was a loving son, brother, father, husband, uncle, son-in-law and brother-in-law.
Robert is preceded in death by his father, Alfredo Davila Jr, paternal grandparents- Mr. and Mrs. Alfredo Sr & Maria Davila, maternal grandparents- Mr. and Mrs. Santiago & Elida Rodriguez, his Godmother whom he loved so very much, Eva R. Perez, and numerous aunts and uncles.
Robert is survived by his loving wife & best friend, Yvonne Marie Davila, mother, Oralia Lopez (Frank), Children- Robert Jr., Renee, Alexis, Rocky, Kathryn, Marcelito, Gianna and Matthew, 2 grandchildren- MJ and Valentina, Brothers- Santiago "Jimmy" Garza (Monica), Alfredo Davila III (Jessica), Daniel Gomez (Elisa), & sisters- Christine Deleon (Higinio), Erica Davila, & Deanna Davis (Aaron), his 4 legged side kick and best friend-his dog, Chapo A. Davila, numerous nieces & nephews, and brothers & sister-in-laws.
Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers are: Robert A. Davila Jr., Rocky Davila, Higinio Deleon III, Jordan Lopez, Alfredo Davila IV and Brandon Garza, along with HONORARY pallbearers whom are both currently serving the US Navy- Alexis Davila & Isaiah Deleon.
Visitation will be held from 5 pm to 9 pm on Monday, January 12th at Seaside Reid Mausoleum where a prayer service will be held at 7 pm officiated by Pastor Joshua Sosa. Funeral Service be held at Seaside Reid Mausoleum the following day, Tuesday January 13th at 11 am. with Interment to follow at Rosehill Memorial Park
