Robert Edward "Bobby" Davis

Robert "Bobby" Edward Davis, 60 of Capon Bridge, WV, formerly of Beech Bottom, WV, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at his residence.

Bobby was born on January 13, 1966 in Wheeling, WV. He was the son of Clara Ilene (Conley) Davis and the late Richard Edward Davis.

A 1984 graduate of Brooke High School, Bobby worked for many years as a pipe fitter. He will be remembered for his love of fishing and farming, as well as for the countless hours he spent tinkering in his garage-building motors and working on his tractor. He enjoyed staying busy and took pride in working with his hands.

In addition to his father, Bobby was preceded in death by his sister, Vickie Jo Davis Renshaw, and her husband, Owen Francis Renshaw.

In addition to his mother, Bobby is survived by his companion of 25 years, Sherri Ratliff, whose love and friendship endured through the years, two daughters, Chazsady Jo Davis of Sarasota, FL, and Chelsea Rae (Davis) Young and her husband, Daniel, of Wheeling, WV, a grandson, Emerson Daniel Young, two brothers, Gary Lee Davis and his wife, Anissa Davis, and John Frederick Davis, six nieces and nephews, Lakin Davis, Joshua Davis and his wife, Sheena, Steven, and John Dylan Davis, and Mikey and Joey Renshaw; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and his dear friends, Gary Clark and his wife, Carol, whose friendship meant the world to Bobby and his family. Gary and Carol cared for Bobby as if he was family.

The Chambers Funeral Home of Wellsburg, WV (304-737-3551) is honored and privileged to serve the Davis family with a private family viewing and burial at Kadesh Chapel Cemetery in Beech Bottom, WV.
