Robert Day Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Shorey-Nichols Funeral Home & Crematory Services, Pittsfield on May 28, 2025.
ST. ALBANS-Robert "Bobby" Day, lost his battle with cancer at the young age of 56 on May 27, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones in Pittsfield.
Bobby was born on January 5, 1969, in Putnam, CT, the son of Kathy Day and the late Paul Day Sr. He had many jobs as a mechanic and could fix anything. He really loved his position at Feed Commodities in Detroit and enjoyed the friendships he had made there.
He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Melanie Day; stepdaughter, Olivia Field and spouse Dylan Carroll and their 3 children; his son, Dustyn Carrow; his mom, Kathryn Day; his mother-in-law, Cinda Fairfield and significant other Bob Brown; siblings: Melissa Day and husband Daniel Corson, Evelyn Bowers, Jed Day and wife Tina, Ginger Healy and husband Ron, and Lee Day; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his dad, Paul Day Sr.; his father-in-law, George (Skip) Fairfield III; his stepson, Austin Field; his brother, Paul Day Jr; his uncle, Albert Day; and his grandmother, Lillian Vinning, who he loved very much.
Though the void may be left in our lives with you no longer in it, we will be filled with the cherished moments that we shared. A testament to the beautiful soul that you were. Your light will never fade.
The family invites you to a barbeque and celebration of life from 4-7 p.m., Friday, June 13, 2025, at the American Legion Hall, 82 North Street, Newport.
