Robert G. Dellefield, 75 of Amherst Township, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2023. He was born in Lorain, Ohio at St. Joseph's Hospital, and was raised on the family farm in Amherst Township. He loved his dad’s tractors. He then attended Murray Ridge Workshop and, following the passing of his parents, he went to live at Our Lady of the Wayside. During his stay at Our Lady of the Wayside, he attended the Pathways Day Program workshops. While Robert lived in the Our Lady of the Wayside with three other residents, he enjoyed a good life there. He made many friends there and everywhere he went. Besides loving John Deere tractors, Robert also loved playing the harmonica and would do so at concerts in the park and even got to go up on stage. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Robert is survived by his loving sister, Paulette Dellefield White (Lt. David White, deceased husband); nieces, Hollie Marie Nejad (Maz), Jessica Helene-Anne Cahill (John), and Samantha Louise Martz (Justin); great nieces and nephews, Madison Cahill, Patrick Cahill, Ethan Nejad, Ella Nejad, Jeffrey Martz, Jacob Martz, and Julianna Martz; several cousins; along with his family and friends at Our Lady of the Wayside.
