Robert Dewing Obituary
Son of late George and Mildred (Dowling) Dewing; he was also predeceased by his brother Paul Dewing, George Dewing, and Linda (Dewing) Bramble. He is survived by his sons, Patrick (Jessica) and Tom (Alicia); grandchildren, Porter, Molly, and Clark; his siblings, Carol Dewing-Covell, Janet (Dewing) Pacheco, Charles Dewing, Tucker Dewing and Doris Dewing; and his special friend, Helen Rosenkrantz.
Bob grew up in Cambridge, MA and enjoyed listening to Motown music. Bob served with the US Army and volunteered for 15 years with the VA in Broome County. He was also a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians.
Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, please consider honoring Bob with a donation to the Broome County Humane Society, 167 Conklin Ave., Binghamton, NY 13903. Arrangements are with the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home.
