Funeral services for Robert Dale Dibbern Sr., 92, of Katy, Texas will be held Sunday, August 17, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas, Interment will follow at Mt. Rose Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held on the day of service, from 1:00-2:00 p.m., at the funeral home.

Robert was born November 25, 1932 in Houston, Texas and passed away August 11, 2025 in Katy, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Dibbern and Minnie (Kuehnle) Dibbern; wife of 50 years, Teresa Dibbern; wife if 7 years, Laura Dibbern; and brothers, John Dibbern and Earl Dibbern.

He is survived by his son, Bobby Dibbern and wife Deb of Spring, Texas; daughters, Melody Bounds and husband Mark of Tyler, Texas and Tanya Nagel and husband Chuck of Katy, Texas; grandchildren, Melisa Wright and Chad, Brian Nagel and Jordan, Stephanie Nagel and John, Chuckie Nagel and Sara, and Mary Anne Quintana and Jorge; great grandchildren, Thomas Dorssom and Michaela, Wesley Leaman, Caden Nagel, Bryson Temple, Gavin Robert Wright, Cason Nagel, Elise Nagel, Ryann Nagel, Caleb Nagel, and Vincent Quintana; and sisters-in-law, Anna May Dibbern of Cypress, Texas, and Bety Dibbern of Bay City, Texas; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made, in honor of Robert, to the SPCA of Polk County.

Pallbearers: Cason Nagel, Chuckie Nagel, Thomas Dorrsom, Wesley Leaman, Gavin Wright, Jorge Quintana, and Caden Nagel.

Honorary pallbearers: grandchildren and great grandchildren.
