Robert Victor Dillard III

Robert Victor Dillard, III, 23, of Spartanburg, SC, transitioned on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born on Wednesday, March 6, 2002, he was the son of Latricia Maria Johnson and Robert Victor Dillard, Jr.

Robert III was educated at Spartanburg High School. He was affectionately known to many as "5K". He was formerly employed as a construction worker. "5K" had a love for basketball. He played in Upward as a young child and challenged anyone with his skills on the court. He was baptized at an early age and was raised in the church. He was a member of Saint Luke Baptist Church in Union, SC.

Robert III was welcomed in heaven by his maternal grandfather, Chris Johnson, and his paternal grandparents, Doretha Dillard and Robert Dillard, Sr.

Robert III will be remembered for his sense of humor, warm spirit and love of family and friends.

Left to cherish his memories are his precious son, Kaiden Dillard; his mother Latricia Johnson (Trawn Bonds); his father, Robert Dillard, Jr. (Angela Banks); two brothers, Xavier Dillard, and Khaziah Bonds; maternal grandmother, Kathy Johnson; step grandmother, Rose Bonds; and a host of uncles, aunts, close cousins, other relatives, and friends, all of whom will miss him dearly.
