Son of the late Rosalie (Koskey) and Edward J. Dillard, Sr.; significant other of Jennifer Klein; father of Tatum Dillard; brother of Eloise Elstner, Melissa Kopelic (Dennis), Edward Dillard Jr., and Rosalie Wisniewski (Robert). Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Robert was an avid hunter, fisherman, and gardener. He loved cooking and anything outdoors - riding quads and going to the mountains. He was a strong hearted man who fought till the end.
