Bob and I taught together for many years at Central HS. He was one of the unrecognized heroes that worked hard to educate his students, was always prepared for class and challenged his students to achieve. He was a great example of what an educator should be. I always respected him for his professionalism and efforts.

Bob and I first met when we were kids playing sandlot football against each other at George West park. Beyond those days, I think the next time I saw Bob was at Uncle Adrian's/Cousin Ann Mary's home in Cranston. We were now cousins as he had married my beautiful cousin Virginia Spirito. He was a great husband and a wonderful father to five children. I send my most profound condolences to Paul, Michael, Dina and Marisa.

Bobby was such an inspiration, knowing him and getting my hair cut at the salon was always a memorable experience for over 50 years.
His dedication to his profession, country, and most of all family was paramount.
