Had the great privilege to play with Bob many times in the 80s and 90s. He was a terrific player and a great human being. Sorry for your loss Brenda.

My sons loved playing in Jr Phil under Mr. Dolwick´s leadership. He expected a lot from all the young musicians, and they grew tremendously in their musicianship because of those expectations. I used to enjoy sitting in the auditorium and listening to his rehearsals. I appreciated the concerts so much more after hearing how he helped the orchestra understand the meaning and dynamics of each work. We have some very fine cd´s because of that. You were an inspiration Mr. Dolwick. May you rest in God´s eternal peace.

He was like a second father. Always caring and concerned. Every young musician should be as lucky as to have a mentor like Bob Dolwick.
Love you, Bob
