Robert Wayne Dorcas, age 53, of Norman Oklahoma, passed away in his home on October 24, 2022. Robert was a beloved husband, father, and friend.
He was born April 25, 1969, in San Francisco CA. to Kathy Dickey and Gerald “Jerry”Dorcas. He married Sandra Kelsey Dorcas on October 25, 1986.
Robert always liked being the life of the party. His favorite things to do were playing pool and sitting around the table playing cards or dominos, while gossiping, laughing and trash talking the other players. On the off season he enjoyed shooting hoops, frisbee golf, or going down a slide. He also loved cooking whenever he got a chance. He we will be missed by many.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Kelsey Dorcas, daughters, Sandy Kelsey of Natchitoches, LA; Amanda Dorcas, Samantha Dorcas, and Karisa Dorcas of Roosevelt; 7 grandchildren, Katrina, Jozlynn, Lonnie, Tyssen, Charlie,& Alona Dorcas and Kaylee Ercanbrack, and his siblings, Katy Martin, David Dorcas, Dawn Conroy, Carla Jones, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mom, Kathy Dickey, grandparents, Phillip and Lola Tangye, Sherman and Blanche Dorcas, mother and father-in-law, Alona and Richard Kelsey, brothers-in-law, Lonnie and Richard Kelsey and uncle Bob Tangye.
