Shirley Kathyern Dorcas, 78, of Albuquerque, passed away on July 22, 2024.
Shirley was born on April 13, 1946, to Florence Elwood & William Gregory in Jefferson City, Missouri.
Shirley is survived by her husband John Dorcas, children Dianna Paiz, Juanita Montoya, Tina Conary (Bill), and Lisa Sloan(Tim). Her grandchildren John Martinez (Melissa), Crystal Mata (Fernando), Ryan Mathis, Samantha Mathis, Martina Gutierrez (Ben), Anthony Fair, Brad Paiz, Michael Abeyta (Nisa), Alex Paiz (Taylor), Mercedes Flores (Daniel) and 15 great grandchildren.
Shirley was truly married to the love of her life. They met in 1968 and married in 1969. They spent their life happily married for just over 54 years raising their 4 children together. Shirley stayed home to raise her girls. She spent many of her years at the racetrack either watching John or even spending a few of those years behind the wheel herself. She enjoyed traveling, reading, doing all sorts of crafts, and just spending time with her family.
She will be sorely missed by all family, friends, and all who knew her!
