Robert E. Dordan

Robert E. Dordan, age 38, of Grand Rapids, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, July 4, 2022. Rob was a graduate of Caledonia High School and Aquinas College, and went on to obtain his Juris Doctorate, graduating first in his class from Loyola School of Law of New Orleans. He loved his work as a law clerk with the Kent County Circuit Court. Rob will be remembered for his compassion for those under served. Rob was a loving husband and devoted father. He will be dearly missed by his wife, Sarah; daughter, Alyssa; parents, Michael and Nyann Dordan; as well as his extended family and many good friends. His brother, Michael Dordan Jr., "Mikey" preceded him in death. As Rob requested, cremation has taken place. Please join Rob's family in celebrating his life on Thursday, July 7, at a visitation from 5 - 7 pm at Stroo Funeral Home (1095 68th St. SE) as well as at a service of remembrance at 2 pm on Friday, July 8, at St. Jude Catholic Church, 1120 4 Mile Rd. NE, Grand Rapids. Contributions in memory of Rob may be made to Gilda's Club.
