Robert Drabik, lifelong Hackettstown resident, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2024, in Morristown, NJ. He was 76 years old.
Bob was born in Newton, NJ on March 14, 1948. He graduated from Hackettstown High School, and outside of religiously attending all sporting events his daughter and grandchildren participated in, he loved to golf. Sports were a way of life, and his loyalty never wavered from the NY Giants and NY Mets, despite their performance. Always a fun time when he was around, and he was loved by many.
He spent 50+ years at ABB, with progressing leadership roles. Discussions of retirement were always coming up, but he truly enjoyed what he was doing, and formed numerous lasting friendships. He was the unofficial 'Beverage Manager' of the company golf league and looked forward to Tuesday afternoons.
Bob is survived by his daughter, Jill Drabik, and two (2) grandchildren, Evan, and Nicole Bruzzichesi.
A viewing will be held at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840 on Monday, December 30, 2024, from 10 am – 12 pm.
A funeral will service will take place on Monday December 30, 2024 at 12:00 pm, also at Cochran Funeral Home, with Rev. Donald Gebhard officiating. Burial will take place a Hackettstown Union Cemetery, Mountain Avenue, Hackettstown, NJ following the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Liver Foundation. (https://liverfoundation.org)
