David "Dave" L. Drabik II, 41 of Zanesville, passed away at Genesis Hospital on Sunday, March 16, 2025.
Dave was born on April 26, 1983, in Zanesville to David (Joyce) Drabik and Kathy (Tom) Ravizza. He attended the Vocational School and Maysville High School. Dave was a talented, self-employed carpenter and worked with fiber optic cable installations.
He loved hosting BBQs, grilling, and making smores for his family and friends. In addition to cooking, Dave enjoyed fishing, swimming, playing Guitar Hero, and listening to his favorite music. Above all, Dave cherished spending time with his children. He had a generous spirit and would go out of his way to help others, always willing to give the shirt off his back to a stranger.
In addition to his parents, Dave is survived by his beloved soulmate, Krista Wakeley; his beloved children, Aliyah Drabik, Josh Drabik, Emilee Smith, Cheyenne Drabik, Deklyn Drabik, and Lily Rose Drabik; his bonus children, Alaina Williams, Ella Williams, Kyson Wakeley, and Wyatt Black; his two sisters, Jamie Jones and Jayden Lane; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Dave is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Andrew and Mary Drabik; as well as his maternal grandparents, Nelson and Winifred Bailey.
Dave gave the gift of life through organ and tissue donation.
Visitations will be held from 2 to 4PM on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls. A funeral service will follow at 4 pm, at the funeral home. Pastor Jon Exman will officiate the service. He will be laid to rest in Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date.
