Robert F. Drewes

Robert F. Drewes, 89 of Toms River, NJ passed away peacefully on Friday, December 26, 2025. Born in Trenton, NJ, he lived in Morrisville, PA, and Willingboro, NJ, before moving to Whiting, NJ, in 1986.
Robert attended Ewing High School where he was class president and captain of the basketball team. He also played baseball and won the city batting title with an average of.469, as a senior. He is a member of the Ewing High School athletic hall of fame. He started college at Cornell University where he was a member of the basketball team. He eventually transferred to Lafayette University where he played baseball and graduated in 1958.
His storied career included stints at Mercantile Stores, Lenox, and 3M. He went to work for RCA in 1966, finishing his career as a member of the corporate staff in 1981. He is reunited in heaven with his parents: Frederick and Mary Drewes (nee Klokis) and his brother Richard Drewes, MD, who was tragically killed in Vietnam. Robert will forever be held and cherished in the hearts of his loving family; Niece, Debbie Kraska (nee Drewes), nephews Richard Jr, Thomas and Christopher, 4 grandnephews and 5 grandnieces.
