Robert "Bobby" Edwards Jr.
May 10th, 1957-February 4th, 2024
Robert "Bobby" Edwards Jr. 66, of Garner, NC died unexpectedly late in the evening on
Sunday February 4th, 2024 at his home. Bobby had a passion for all things cars. He loved
the old classic hotrods, the "lead sleds" he would call them, and he turned this passion into
a career of restoring classic vehicles. He was very talented and could turn the biggest rust
bucket into the most beautiful work of art anyone had ever seen. He loved to joke and
laugh, was a proud father, a loving husband, and brother, and a wonderful friend. Bobby
was quick to help anyone who needed it, and never asked for much in return. When
thanked he would simply smile and say "fuhgeddaboudit" He will be missed by so many,
and loved always. He lived a full life, traveled each and every highway, had a few regrets,
took a few blows, but stood tall, but he would tell you before he faced that final curtain
call, is he did it "My Way". Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Edwards
Sr. and Phyllis DiMeo. Bobby is survived by his wife Karen Edwards, his children Boe
Edwards and wife Amy, Tiffany Sperry and husband Jon, Nick Edwards and wife Crystal,
brother Brian Edwards and wife Brooke, sister Loretta Simek and husband Rudy, sister
Ann Edwards, brother Carl, multiple beautiful grandchildren including McKenzie, Kayla,
Alexa, Adriana, and Bella, along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Bobby will be forever missed, and always loved. A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
