ROBERT L. EGE
Robert L. Ege, 82, of Carlisle, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at Penn State Hampden Health.
Born June 15, 1943 in Carlisle, he was the son of the late Homer A. And Minnie M. (Stone) Ege.
Bob was a Design Engineer having retired from Lear Corp. (formerly C H Masland) with many years of service.
He loved horse racing, auctions and was an accomplished woodworker.
He was preceded in death by two daughters: Tracey Ege and Diane Eckert.
Surviving are his wife: Susan (Simmons) Ege, daughters Jennifer Ege of Carlisle, Deborah Howells of Mechanicsburg, son Dennis Eckert of Newville. He is also survived by a brother Edward (Deb) Ege of Newville and sister Phyllis McCoy of Carlisle, as well as a granddaughter Asya (Patrick) Christie and a great granddaughter Juniper Christie.
Private graveside services will be held in Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Marysville.
