Funeral services for Robert Lee "Peter" Egerton, age 80, who died on Thursday, June 25, 2025, will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. from the Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Louisburg, NC with Rev. Donovan Muldrow, officiating.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Loretta P. Egerton of the home, one daughter, Tonya M. Hughes (Nicholas) of Suffolk, VA, one son, Michael Terrell (Maxine) of Lathonia, GA, special son, Christian Jameson of Franklinton, NC, one brother, Weldon Egerton (Barbara) of Plainfield, NJ, 9 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Friday afternoon, July 4, 2025 from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Louisburg, NC.

My family and I extend our deepest condolences to the Egerton family. I worked with Ege (as we affectionately called him) at Murdoch in the PT/OT Department for many years. He was always the life of the party and I could always count on him for laughter or just to offer some "fatherly" advice. He was the bright spot in the Department and he will always be remembered. Sending prayers for your family for healing and peace during this difficult time.
