Robert Lawrence Eierman, 81, passed away on January 17, 2026.
Robert was an aerospace engineer who worked on the China Lake Naval Base for over 20 years. He was proud of his career and the contributions he made through his work.
He loved attending NASCAR races, watching his son Devin race in Washington, building model airplanes, and spending cherished time with his family—especially his beloved grandson, Lucas. Known for his warmth, loving nature, and dry wit, Robert’s humor was as memorable as his kindness. He was affectionately known as “Pops” or “Papa Robert” by those who loved him.
He is survived by his son, Devin Eierman; daughter-in-law, Mari-Ann Pratt Eierman; granddaughters Veronica Deyette, Sabrina Pratt, and Kristina Groshong; daughter, Allison Lape; son-in-law, Matthew Lape; grandson, Lucas Longoria; daughter, Shannon Eierman; and stepdaughters, Marni Lund and Carlin Wood.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
