Robert Ellow Obituary
Robert J."Bob" Ellow, age 82, a longtime resident of King of Prussia, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at home, with his loving wife at his bedside. Born in Norristown, Robert was the son of the late Francis "Frank" Ellow and the late Ann (nee Kuchna) Ellow, the devoted husband of Carol A. (nee Pupeck) Ellow since August 24, 1963, the loving Father of Robert J. Ellow Jr. (Diane), Mark R. Ellow and the late Christopher J. Ellow and the proud grandfather of Trista Ellow, Mark Ellow, Luke Ellow Krista Ellow and Sarah Purcell. In addition, Robert was the beloved brother of the late Francis M. Ellow Jr. (the late Madeline), but is survived by his other brother, Ronald Ellow (Beverly).
Bob was a graduate of Bridgeport High School and then going to night school, went on to earn his Business Degree from The University of Pennsylvania. While in high school, Bob was a running back for the football team and for the baseball team, he was a left-handed pitcher with a great curve ball! He also enjoyed playing the drums with his band "The Newports".
Mr. Ellow was an accomplished salesman, working his whole career in the metals business, with several firms including Sandmeyer Steel Company, Hillman Brass & Copper, BBL, Yarde Metals and Alro Metals Outlet, until he retired in 2010. He was also a very devout Catholic man, a member for many years of Mother of Divine Providence Church as well as a member of Men of Malvern, attending retreats there for 21 years, many of those years with his son Robert.
Relatives and Friends are invited to Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Road, King of Prussia, PA 19406 on Saturday, September 20, where his viewing will be held from 9 a.m. until 9:50 a.m. and his Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow Mass in St. Augustine Cemetery. The family would appreciate Memorial Donations to Mother of Divine Providence Church at the above address. Arrangements are by The Bernard S. I first got to know "Bobby" from playing on the same Little League baseball team ...the A´s. I continued playing sports with him namely football and baseball through our high school careers. He was a very athletically gifted and talented young man whether it be on the gridiron, the baseball diamond or in his musical interests. His smile would always light up a room upon his entrance. He will be sorely missed by all that knew him. RIP my good friend! Mazz

I was very sad to hear of Bob's passing. Bob was a very kind and considerate friend as is Carol. He and Carol often welcomed members of MDP's Legion of Mary over the years when we visited them in their home with the Pilgrim Virgin statue and prayed the Rosary with them. Rest in peace, Bob, and may Carol find comfort at this time in the arms of Jesus and Mary.
