Robert Escalante Obituary
Services for Robert Rangel Escalante, 76, of Morton will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 10, 2022, in the Krestridge Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be on Friday, December 8, 2022, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Krestridge Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the City of Levelland Cemetery.
He was born March 31, 1946 in Morton to Roman and Guadalupe Escalante. Robert went with the Lord Jesus on December 6, 2022. He worked for Morton and Levelland Delinting. Robert was also a self-employed trucker for over 50 years.
Robert attended Morton ISD. He married Virginia Fuentes on December 21, 1968.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roman and Guadalupe Escalante; and brother, Jenaro Escalante.
Robert is survived by his wife of 53 years, Virginia Escalante of Morton; daughter, Veronica Escalante and husband Jack Hurd of McKinney; son, Eric James Escalante and wife Karina of Lubbock; daughter, Adriana Infante and husband Sergio of Wolfforth; 6 grandchildren, Chastity, Ambria and Kenzie Escalante, Adrian Gonzales, Sal and Kim Segura; 2 great grandchildren, Jalen and Aspen Brown; brothers, Eron, Demetrio and Johnny; and sister, Frances.
