Mr. Robert Eugene Colbird

Robert Eugene Colbird, 74, of Bud, passed away Wednesday, July 09, 2008, at his residence following a sudden illness. Born Dec. 6, 1933, in Wyoming County, he was the son of the late James and Matilda O�Neal Colbird. Mr. Colbird was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, being in the woods and listening to gospel music. He enjoyed being with his family especially his grandchildren. He was always joking and smiling. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Geniva Lusk Colbird; a daughter, Debra Lambert; a son, Robert Lee Colbird; and several brothers and sisters. Survivors include a son, Melvin Eugene Colbird and his wife, Sue, of Bud; three daughters, Rachel McNeely or Bolt, Anita Colbird of Crab Orchard and Sherry Cook and her husband, Earl, of Pineville, Skin Fork; three brothers, Roger Colbird of Bud Mountain, Joe Colbird of Bud-Alpoca and Harold Colbird of Columbus, Ohio; 10 grandchildren, Chasity Austin of North Carolina, Brandon Stover, Shannon Stover and Cherish Stover, all of Bolt, Joshua Stover of Bud, Cristie Farmer (Cook) of Glen Daniel, Latisha Colbird, Tiffany Colbird and Tyler Colbird, all of Bud, and Zachariah Cook of Skin Fork; and seven great-grand-children, Kelsey, Gavin, Dakota, Layla, Kaydence, Matthew and Sydney.
