ROBERT EVANS 8/20/1953-8/29/2025 Robert Bander (Bobby) Evans, 72, passed away in Granbury, Texas on August 29, 2025. Robert was born on August 20, 1953 in Burnet, Texas to Joe D. Evans and Nellie Jones Evans. He graduated from high school in Jefferson, Texas in 1971. Robert was an avid hunter and fisherman in his early life. He loved to travel and would be away on trips for long periods. Bobby was very fond of Granbury, where he worked most of his later life. He was a Ford muscle care enthusiast and a Cowboy fan. Bobby was always an easy going agreeable person that could be counted on to help anyone in need. He was much loved and will be greatly missed. Robert is survived by: stepmom, Merilyn Evans; brother, Weldon L. Evans; brother, Joe D. Suttles (Pody), nephew, Jade E. Evans; great-nephew, Jon Case. Robert was preceded in death by: father, Joe D. Evans; mother, Nellie Evans; brother, Joe D. Evans, II (Jody). No services are planned at this time. Arrangements under the care of Wiley Funeral Home, Granbury, Texas.
