Robert George Fidone, a beloved family man, respected colleague, and avid runner, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas, at the age of 66. Born on October 14, 1958, in Pensacola, Florida, Robert's warmth and generosity touched the lives of everyone he knew.

Robert's early years in Pensacola were filled with joy and the loving guidance of his parents, Jackie and the late George Fidone. He grew up alongside his siblings, David, George, Jeff, and Kim, in a home where laughter and love were the foundations of family life. Robert carried these values throughout his life, creating a legacy of kindness and compassion.

He met the love of his life, Josie, who predeceased him, and together they built a life rich in happiness and shared dreams. Although Robert was deeply saddened by Josie's passing, he found solace in the close bonds he shared with his children, Jackie, Trent and step children Cindi, Vanessa, and Melissa.

Robert's professional life was marked by a remarkable 33-year tenure at USAA, where he was not only a dedicated employee but also a friend to many. His work ethic and commitment to excellence left a lasting impact on both the organization and his colleagues.

His presence will be deeply missed by his surviving family members, including his mother Jackie; brothers David, George, and Jeff; sister Kim; daughter Jackie; son-in-law Tony; grandson Kal; son Trent; stepdaughters Cindi, Vanessa, and Melissa; and the many relatives and friends whose lives he enriched.

Robert George Fidone lived a life full of purpose, love, and laughter. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him, and his spirit will continue to inspire us all. As we bid farewell to a man of exceptional character, we celebrate a life well-lived and cherish the countless memories he has left behind.
