Obituary of Robert Fields
Robert Fields, current resident of Foltsbrook, and former resident of Herkimer passed away on May 31, 2023 peacefully at Little Falls Hospital. Born in the state of Illinois on November 25, 1951, Robert was one of six children. The family relocated to New York when he was young. Robert was a long time resident of Herkimer. He was known to be a customer at Danny Donuts, having a coffee while visiting with his mother who worked there. Robert leaves behind his close friend of 35 plus years, Eileen; two nephews, Robert Cook and Raymond Hamilton of Syracuse; and his niece, Brittany Bertone of Oneonta. Robert was predeceased by his Mother, Nellie, and his older sister, Judy.
The family would like to thank the dedicated staff of Foltsbrook and the Neurology department of Bassett for the last decade of care. The family would also like to express their sincere thanks to the staff of Little Falls ER as well as the inpatient staff of Little Falls Hospital for their communication and help on the last days of his life. Any donations can be made in Robert's name to the Foltsbrook Center: Activity Department.
His funeral arraangements have been entrusted to the Petykiewicz, Iocovozzi & Burns Funeral Home, Herkimer.
