Robert Fiorello Obituary
He enjoyed many trips to Atlantic City and Parks Casinos with his beloved wife Barbara. His favorite things to do were sitting in the sun, smoking his cigars, watching Seinfeld episodes, and rooting for his favorite team, the NY Yankees. As a young man he had a chance encounter with Yankees Legend, Phil Rizzuto. Mr Rizzuto was so impressed with his Yankees fandom, that he invited him to watch him conduct his AM radio show in New York; this was a treasured moment for him. Also in his younger years, he was a successful coach in the Chambersburg Little League.
He was also tremendously proud to be a Sicilian-American and to have grown up in North Trenton.
Robert is predeceased by his parents, Liborio and Marietta (Mule) Fiorello.
He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Barbara C. (Pogorzelski) Fiorello; his two sons, Robert V. Fiorello, Jr.; Nicholas Fiorello: step daughter, Elaine M. and husband Jon Adams, Sr.; three grandchildren, Nicholas Fiorello, Jr., Toni Perilli, and Vincent Fiorello and wife Kelsey; two step grandchildren, Jon M. Adams, Jr. and Stephen T. Adams; four great grandchildren, Sloane and Theo Perilli, and Joelle and Luca Fiorello; a brother-in-law, Casmir Pogorzelski; as well as nieces & nephews, Joe Fiorello Jr. Bob Fiorello, Denise Fiorello, and Maria Fiorello.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Thursday, January 22, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619.
Catholic prayer services will be held at 11:00 AM with Deacon Michael Scannella officiating.
Cremation will follow and will be held privately.
