Robert (Bobby) Fisher, Sr. passed away on August 11, 2022 in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Bobby was born May 13, 1939 in Poughkeepsie, NY to Howard W. Fisher and Anne Allers Fisher. He is survived by his wife Alice Berry Fisher, sons Charles (Wife, Gloria), Robert Jr., and his daughter-in-law, Janet (Wife of Paul), Grandchildren Krista Arndt, Brian Fisher, Lynette Jones (Husband, Douglas), Kevin Fisher, Steven Fisher, Chandler fisher, and Great-Grandchildren Cody, Kara, Conner, and Lilly. His brother Howard Fisher and wife Betty-Jo of Hyde Park, NY, Sister Grace Taber of Highland, NY, along with several nieces and nephews. He is pre-deceased by his parents, Howard and Anne, his sisters Pat Van Ackooy and Anna Fisher, and his son Paul Steven Fisher. Bobby grew up on the banks of the Hudson River where he spent hours diving for coins and fishing with his father and brother. He worked in the textile mill in Poughkeepsie, NY alongside his father for many years until relocating with his wife and children to Fort Lauderdale, FL where he worked for Pine Crest School with his wife until his retirement. Bobby loved spending his time with his sons, grandchildren, and later on, his great-grandchildren whom he passed down his love for fishing and nature. Bobby was a patriarch forhis family and will be truly and dearly missed. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, August 20th at Gracepoint Church 5590 NE 6th Ave. Fort Lauderdale, FL from 2:00-6:00pm.
