In Loving Memory of Robert J. Foronda February 27, 1955 - January 13, 2026
We have lost one of our #1s in life. We are so grateful for the time we had with him-as a husband, father, and Papa.
He was deeply loved and respected by so many. When people met his sons and daughters and learned that Bobby was their dad, they always made it a point to share what they thought of him. Every time, it came with a story about the impression he left on them, and it always ended with the same four words: "I LOVE YOUR DAD!".
He truly led by example-not just in being a man, but in being an exceptionally great one. He absolutely put his family first and the love he gave was unbelievable. The amount he was loved was also unbelievable.
This was his life, and what mattered most to him.
He has gone ahead of his family to be with the Lord.
He survived by his beloved wife Cindy of 47 years, his nine children, Corey, Tyler (Autumn), Joshua, Talia (Brandon) Molloy, Tia (Edgar), Maldonado, Eliason, Caleb, and Lucius. Also his seven grandchildren who adored their Papa-Skyla, Theo, Emery, Myla, Tyler Jr, Kai, and baby Arlo.
He is also survived by his brother Peter (Sally), and his sister Gail (Scott) Murphy.
Along with extended family and friends, many who became family to all of us.
He was preceded in death by his son, LouJohn, his father and mother, Pedro Cadawas Foronda, Gloria (Maldonado), his sister, Carol (John) Eaton and his brother, Thomas (T.Bone) Foronda
His legacy is love, family, and a life lived with purpose.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Babcock Funeral Home, 19 Pulver Avenue, Ravena, NY 12143 on Saturday January 24, 2026, from 10am to 12pm with a service to follow at the funeral home.
