Robert "Bob" Fosler

Robert W. Fosler, 78-year-old resident of Little Falls, MN, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2025, at St. Otto's Care Center.

Arrangements are pending. Caring for Robert and his family is the LeMieur Funeral Home in Little Falls.

Robert "Bob" William Fosler was born on September 1, 1946, to the late Leonard and Bernice (Casey) Fosler. He was united in marriage to Beverly Ann (Carlson) Mauren on October 29, 1980, in Minneapolis, MN. Bob graduated from Minneapolis Patrick Henry High School in 1964. He avidly played hockey for Patrick Henry and pursued that briefly in his college career. He dreamed of being a Pro Hockey player.

Bob was honorably discharged from the military in January of 1968, where he was a pilot for the US Navy.

He worked for Northwest Airlines as a mechanic, and American Trailer as a salesman, flew fire watch, and ran several small businesses including an engraving business. Bob loved to talk big and have fun with anyone who would sit and talk with him. He loved to scuba dive, fly planes, target practice at the gun range, and hunt with his brothers-in-law and nephews. Bob was a Mason, and a member of the American Legion.

He is survived by his step-daughter, Kim Mauren; step-son, David Mauren; brothers-in-law, Denis (Marlene) Carlson, John (Michelle) Carlson, Dail (Shelly) Carlson; sisters-in-law, Diane Koroll, Irene Wolters, Connie (Randy) Bjerkness, Bonnie (Steve) Holt; grandchildren, nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Beverly; parents, Leonard and Bernice Fosler and Margaret and Arnold Carlson; stepdaughter, Tammy Allison; sisters and brothers-in-law, Gloria and Kevin Roth, Allen Carlson, Kenneth Wolters, and David Koroll.
