OUR ROBERT
I, First have to say that my Brother, Robert, was a true Gentleman and Everybody Loved Robert!
He did have a Great Life, but it was just cut too short.
He loved his Family, all of his Friends (some of them who are here today and have been his friends for over 50 years)!
He loved all of my and Jimmy´s friends and families, and we are all really family!
He loved His House, and as a teenager and through his twenties, he had parties almost every Weekend in my Parent´s Basement. He Wanted for nothing!
Robert´s Real Passion and Claim to Fame was Playing the Drums, and he was so talented that when Jimmy introduced him to Rock and Roll Groups and Doo wop, he was met with many offers immediately.
Because of his talent, he played at Radio City Music Hall, Westbury Music Fair along with many other venues for decades!
Then, he met the Love of his life, Cheryl Schwartz! Cheryl and Robert were always in Love, and she catered to him, like no other! She had to cook, clean and do laundry for him, just like my mother. She took care of him in Sickness and in Health!
They never had Children, but my Son, Michael, took care of that. They came to see Michael at every event all through school, even at NYU, and they have all stayed so very close every day without exception!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They also, very importantly, have a Stepson, Bobby, who we all love and cherish, and he just flew in from Texas to be here today! Overwhelming!
Our Family is Really Amazed to see so many of you Today, just showing how Kind people can be. If everyone were like all of you, we would have a wonderful world!
Let´s wish for this Kindness to spread starting today!
I so Believe that Robert is here with all of us right now, watching over us with the Biggest Smile on his Face!
Rest In Peace, My Brother!

I met Rob in High School. We developed a good size group of friends that regularly met at his house to hang out, listen to his band ,go to the schoolyard or pizza shop and hang out some more. Those were memorable times. He was a cool guy, not a bad bone in him.
Me, my bro Jim and sister Sue send our Condolences to his family. May he Rest in Peace
