Robert Freeman Obituary
Robert Dolen Freeman went to be with the Lord on January 8th 2026, in Frederick, OK. Known for his quiet strength and humble heart, he asked for little but gave so much. A private service will be held under the direction of Orr Gray Gish Funeral Home. Dolen was born January 8th 1957, in Bowie, Texas, to Bennett Elba and Vivian Lorene (Lee) Freeman. He was the grandson of Sim Elba and Nocona Maude (Foster) Freeman, and Robert Edward and Lula Pearl (Emery) Lee. He attended school in Bowie Texas, and graduated in 1975. Dolen enjoyed spending time with his family listening to records and playing Bass Guitar.
Dolen is survived by three children: David (Robin) Freeman of Lawton, OK, Dolen (Stacy) Freeman of Hollister, OK, and Tricia (Justin) Billy of Frederick, OK; grandchildren: Ashlyn Jones and husband Casey, Kelsi Watson and husband EJ, Yulissa Ibarra and husband Mario, Tori Vera and husband Alex, Mack Freeman and fiancé Maci McCorkle, Tristin Billy, Taylor Billy and Maverick Freeman; great grandchildren: Waylon and Wyatt Jones, Kamree and Zayden Watson, Ava, Adalyn and Aubrey Ibarra; brothers: Morris (Marilynn) Freeman and Marlon (Maria) Freeman; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his daughter: Trish Freeman; brothers: Mack, Dennis and Elba Freeman; sister: Donna Freeman Brown, and Treva Simmons; and a granddaughter: Kyra Hoover.
