Dear Carol and Family, So sorry to learn of Bob's passing. My son Brian and I will always remember visiting Bob's shop. Bob gave my son several pieces of roll bar as samples for a science project he was working on. We got to see a car in-process and he let Brian sit in his #50 car. He was thrilled. Bob was a true gentleman.

It is with fond memories of my cousin Bobby Gahan when as youngsters we always were gathering at special holidays such as T-Day, Xmas, etc.
at our grandparents house in Durham NH often times to go exploring the woods, making hay forts in the barn which would aggravate our grandfather telling us that the cows would not eat it if they smelled humans on it! - LOL And the consummate snowball fights making snow forts and teaming up with various cousins to form battle lines. Even though cousin we did not get to spend much time later in life those times and memories will be with me forever.....may the sun always be at your face and the fair winds at your back on this journey to meet up with our heavenly father.....
God be with you Bobby - Cousin Gary Gahan

What a sad day this is, losing one of the finest in New England. I will never forget the honor I had interviewing him in Victory Lane so many times and just walking down to his pit stall and saying hi and wishing him good luck that night. Rest in Peace Bobby.

Carol, there are no words to express our sadness, and condolences go out to you and your family members. Bobby was certainly a neighborhood icon. Riding the golf cart with you and Maddie, walking, seeing you and him riding in the old Ford. He was helpful with figuring out things mechanical. And jokes! It was a fast trip to this point. Thoughts and prayers go out for peace in all the decisions made for him, by you.
we will not be able to be at the service on Saturday, due to another commitment. we will see you at a later time. God Bless.

Bobby was just a love. I was always happy to get to spend a little time with him and Carol. Great smile, such a wonderful personality.
He will be so missed by so many. May he RIP. His family has so many wonderful memories to help the heal. Gone but never forgotten.

Growing up in Rochester, New Hampshire, racing wasn't just a hobby-it was the air we breathed. Little did I know that this passion would eventually define my entire career, but back then, it was all about the foundational figures: Dad, Bobby, and Babe.

They created everlasting memories of great men, terrific families, and the unwavering support that fueled their shared passion for the sport.

My earliest and fondest memory of Bobby, which still makes me smile, was visiting him with my father. I was just a child, but I will forever remember meeting his gentle giant of a dog, appropriately named "Bear." That moment of warmth and simplicity perfectly captured the man behind the helmet.

What an amazing man, incredible talent, and true trendsetter he was. His impact on the sport and on our community will not be forgotten.
