Robert Gailey Obituary
A son of the late Lee Gailey and Arizona Brock Gailey, he was born July 24, 1941 in Banks County, Georgia, having lived all his life in Stephens County, Georgia. He was retired from Stephens County Road Department with 46 years of service. He loved wood working. He was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Tracy E. Gailey by a sister, Frances Donaldson and a number of other siblings.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years of the home, Ruth Rumsey Gailey; daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Tom Brown of Cleveland, Georgia; son, David Gailey of Toccoa; grandchildren, Elizabeth Ferguson and Emily Brown; great-granddaughter, Everleigh Ferguson; sister, Carrie Norton of Banks County; brothers, James Gailey and Larry Gailey both of Banks County.
The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Saturday, July 26, 2025, 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.
Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Robert Andrew Gailey.
