Robert D. Gallentine Jr. of Mill Run went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Dece. 26, 2021, at the age of 75. He was born on March 10, 1946, in Connellsville, the son of the late Robert D. Gallentine Sr. and Samantha Showalter Stickel Gallentine. Remembered for his warmth and humor, Rob worked as part of the Yogi Bear Campground community finding joy and fulfillment interacting with campers and spending time with family and friends. He was also a member of the Indian Creek Baptist Church in Mill Run. Rob is survived by his daughter, Robyn Moeller (Chris); granddaughter. Samantha Moeller; brothers, Richard Gallentine (Charlene Fulmer) and Gary Gallentine; his aunt, Sarah Etta Work; nephews, Tyler Gallentine (Lindsey), and Matthew Gallentine (Brandi); nieces, Emily Gallentine, and Madison Gallentine (Trevor Sly); and grand-nieces, Olivia and Ivy, as well as good friends Wendy, Earl, Bailey and Dara Pritts and numerous cousins with whom he shared wonderful memories. Family and friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 31, 2021, in the Indian Creek Baptist Church, Mill Run, where a memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., with Pastor Chris McLaughlin officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Indian Creek Baptist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Roberts' honor to the Fellowship Fund at Indian Creek Baptist Church, 311 Baptist Church Road, Mill Run, PA 15464, which provides support to local families in need.
