Robert “ Gary” Garrand, 75 of Canton,Georgia went home to be with Jesus on January 8, 2026.

He was born July 10,1950 in Durham, NC and was the son of the late Gracie Allen Marshall.

He was also proceeded in death by his wife, Diane Garrand, Uncles Jerdan Allen, Oscar Allen, and James Allen, Aunt Alma English, and brothers of his heart, Barry Wooten and Russel Burnett.

He was an accomplished businessman. He was an avid golfer and a die-hard college football fan, particularly the Miami Hurricanes.

He was a very proud father and grandfather. He loved his family more than anything, especially his two daughters. He was a follower of Jesus and shared that love with everyone he met. He would say ”Jesus loves you, and I do too!” He had a generous and giving spirit.

He will be greatly missed by his daughters Gracie Garrand (Ken Jones), Jennifer (James) Grant, and Julianne Rowland. His grandchildren Andrew, Benji, Noah, Allison, Annabelle, Richard, and Patrick and his 3 great grandchildren. His companion through life Millie Smithers and best buddy Rob Smith. His sister Linda Bagwell, niece Michelle Tyler, great niece Shelley Ramirez, great nephew Robert Krill, and many other relatives that he loved dearly.

Services will be held at Full Life Church 2510 E Cherokee Drive Woodstock, Ga on February 7th at 2 pm.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to his favorite charity St. Jude’s’s Children’s Hospital.
