Robert Paul Gill, Jr., 63, a resident of Temple, GA, formerly of Chelmsford, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 3, 2025, at his home. He was the beloved husband of Doreen (Courchaine) Gill with whom he shared 47 years of marriage.
He was born in Lowell, on March 22, 1962, and was the son of the late Robert Paul Gill, Sr. and Florence (Strobel) Gill-Leone.
He grew up in North Chelmsford. He was a graduate of Nashoba Technical High School, Westford. Bob studied Electrical as a trade and carried on his career with becoming a License Electrician. He was a hardworking man, worked many hours to support his family. Bob worked for Interstate Containers in Lowell for 28 years and most recently, at New England Sheets out of Devens.
Bob enjoyed skiing, dirt bikes, golfing and camping. He loved spending time with his children and cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren. He had a love for Sebago Lake, in ME. He enjoyed going out on his boat with his family that included his beloved German Shepards. Bob also enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson.
In addition to his wife, Robert leaves his children Courtney Loycano, Robert Gill III and his wife Danielle, Ryan Gill and his wife Rebecca, and Adam Gill and his wife Cassey. He will always and forever miss his grandchildren Haillie, Ryley, Abbie, John (JJ), Ryan Jr, (RJ), Reed, Boston and Haisley; his siblings Pamela McNamara, Kenneth Gill; his many nieces and nephews; and his Shepard Jasper.
He was predeceased by his parents Robert Paul Gill, Sr. and Florence (Strobel) Gill-Leone; his sister Lauren Gill; and his grandchild Robert Gill IV.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, October 19, 2025 from 10 am to 1 pm at the BLAKE CHELMSFORD FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen Street, CHELMSFORD. His interment will be held privately.
