Robert Glastetter Obituary
Robert Gerard Glastetter, age 65, passed away on Monday, June 16, 2025, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO.
On August 22, 1959, in Cape Girardeau, MO he was born to the late Lewis and Anna Bucher Glastetter.
He married Jean Crook on August 22, 1981, in Tipton, Il.
Robert before retiring had worked for the Do It Best Corporation as an order filler.
Robert had a great love for life on the farm. He took pride in raising sheep and cattle along with working on tractors.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters: Christina and Guy Williams of Benton, MO and Emily and Daniel Krueger of St. Mary, MO; three sisters: Anna and Greg Presley of Sikeston, MO, Lorita and Gerald Seyer of Benton, MO, Nancy and John Buell of Benton, MO, Jane and Dewayne Lix of Benton, MO; three grandchildren: Emmett Krueger, Quinton Williams and Korbin Williams.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Thomas Glastetter and one sister Bonnie Hulshof.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Denis Catholic Church with Father Daniel Belkin as celebrant.
Burial will be in St. Denis Catholic Cemetery in Benton.
