He was born January 31, 1957, in Berlin, WI, the son of Robert and Alice Kanneman Grabe. Goob was a 1975 graduate of Berlin High School.
Goob was a bartender at Elmer's in Redgranite and an all-around carpenter handyman. He enjoyed being outdoors fishing and hunting, shooting pool on the Thursday night league and watching NHRA drag racing. He was a proud member of NRA.
He is survived by his two sisters, Pauline "Penny" Yonke and Marylou (Daniel) Drew; and nieces, nephews and friends. Robert was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Renee Schram.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Barbola Funeral Chapel in Berlin. Inurnment will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Fox River Chapter of Walleyes for Tomorrow. Anyone wishing to send a sympathy card to the family, please mail to Robert Grabe, c/o Barbola Funeral Chapel, PO Box 201, Berlin, WI 54923.
