Robert "Bob" Lee Gray, 89, of Federalsburg, MD, passed away on November 18, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. Born with a generous spirit and a big heart, Bob lived a life defined by service, devotion, and hard work.

A proud United States Marine, Bob carried the values of honor, courage, and commitment throughout his entire life. After his military service, he built a long and dedicated career-first as a farmer, and the electric company in town, then with Verizon for many years. No matter the job, Bob poured himself fully into his work, earning the respect of all who knew him.

Bob married the love of his life, Shelva Jean Gray, and together they shared nearly 70 years of steadfast companionship. Their life together was rich and full, anchored by faith, family, and the joy of raising five children: Sheila Gray Aycock, Steve Gray (Vickie), Linda Gray (Danny Hill), Brenda Nagel (Larry), and Lisa Cheesman (Terry). Bob was blessed with dozens of grandchildren, including Sandra Morgan, Candace Poole, Christopher Aycock, Sam Gray, Joe Gray, Melissa Mahoney, Ashley Brooks, Travis Cheesman, Angel Nagel, Heather Willoughby, Larry Nagel Jr and great-grandchildren, each one a source of pride. And Bob is preceded in death by grandson Jose Rojas.

A true enthusiast of anything with an engine, Bob especially loved trains and tractors. Whether sharing stories, watching farm equipment rumble by or telling stories of traveling and singing with the Donovan's, he found joy in sharing all of his simple pleasures of life.

Bob will be remembered for his smile and jokes, his deep love for his family, and his unwavering work ethic. His legacy lives on through the countless lives he touched and the generations he helped shape.

Services will be private.
