Robert John Grebe ("Bob"), born October 10th, 1929, in St. Louis, Mo., passed away peacefully on September 5, 2025, in Fort Smith, Ar., at the age of 95. Bob was the son of John and Dorothy Grebe. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Mary Beth Grebe, and his brothers David and Jack Grebe. He is survived by his daughters, Cindy Grebe and Doris Perkins and spouse Raymond Perkins his sisters Betty Noble and Carol Bell, brothers Dick, Michael, Bill Grebe and foster brother Dan Hodges. He is also survived by grandchildren Angela Crowder, David Ewing and Ryan Perkins, 10 great grandchildren, Hannah, Garrett, Savannah, Chase, Cooper, Dillon, Timbre, Skye, Raine, and Maverick, his great-great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews. He was affectionately known as "Uncle Bob". He was a corporal in the Army and served in the Korean War. He worked as a carpenter, Manager of the Goldman Hotel, Maintenance supervisor of City National Bank and for V3 Farms. He loved his family and was a mentor to many young men, he always went the extra mile helping them to grow into responsible men. He loved the outdoors and always had a soft spot for animals and took in sick and homeless animals. He trusted Jesus as his Savior and in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Chaffee Crossing Baptist Church, 925 D Suite A Street Barling, Ar. 72923. Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, September 11, 2025, at U. S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Ar.
