Robert is survived by his companion Sharon; his children Joseph (Jennifer) Hamey and Laura Hamey (Clyde); grandchildren Kayla (Ken) Triplett and Gage Hamey; great-grandson Zane Triplett; and his brothers Richard (Michele) Hamey, James (Diane) Hamey, and Jeffrey (Angie) Hamey. He was preceded in death by his wife Suzette and his sisters Peggy VanSoest and Jacqueline "Suzi" Yang.
A committal service with military honors will be held 12:45 pm, Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Rd., Seville, OH 44273. Please meet at the cemetery welcome center at 12:30 pm.
