Robert Harkins Obituary
August 24, 1958 – December 27, 2025
Robert Dennis Harkins Jr. (Bob) of Cedar Park, Texas, entered the joy of his Savior on December 27, 2025.
Bob was born on August 24, 1958, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He started his career in security at the mall in the 1980s, where he worked his way up to general operational manager and eventually became the vice president of Jones Lang LaSalle. In 2010, Bob joined the leadership team at Chick-fil-A Cedar Park. He served humbly and faithfully as the General Manager of Chick-fil-A Cedar Park and Leander until his passing.
He loved spending time with family, going fishing, and baking desserts for others (and himself) to enjoy. Bob was gifted with the ability to fix and repair almost anything. His hard work ethic and integrity are what made him so highly respected by all who knew him.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Emily Harkins; his wife, Claudia Harkins; and his daughter, Angela Rose.
He is survived by his daughters, Valerie Harkins and Laura Beckman (Justin); his grandchildren, Madeleine Norris, Ava Norris, Kayla Rose, Gabe Rose, Aubrey Beckman, Allie Beckman, and Lila Beckman; his sister, Darleen Quast (Dan); and her children, Nicole, Candace, and Christine.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on
January 11th at 3 PM
Northway Bible Church
